Boring

Khalid Mukhtar · January 17, 2020 · Leave a Comment

I’ve sometimes found that wisdom
Makes itself at home
On the softest sigh
In a droning tone
Where no colors fly
And seconds turn to stone
Seeking out its seekers

If you’re found
You’ll stick around

Enter your gallery
And look around
At all the paintings
Of everything by you
If anything, why, you
Must tear it all down

But wait, leave the walls
Better than you found them
Flatter than silence
Cleaner than light

Exit your gallery
Just slink away
Rouse no suspicion
Bounce for no fight

But, mind
Don’t leave the trash
Behind
