If your vessel is battered
And mainsail is tattered
But you find the winds blowing the same
Then stand up a canvas
Of hope for a plan must
Rely on a breath of His Name

When all that you need
Is someone to hear you
Remember the One
Who hears all is near you

So pour out your heart
And empty its ocean
Resounding His praises
In waves of devotion

There’s good, there’s bad
And then there’s just sad
Like what Disney did to Pooh

Add gallons of water
And sugar: you’ve got a
Flat tale that attaches to you

Allah save my eyes
So my soul won’t go blind
And my ears so my soul
Won’t be deaf to Your Word

Ya Rahīm save my tongue
So my heart can remind
Every part of my being
Of why I am dirt

Bring me Ya Tawwāb
To tears that matter
For dirt without water
Is given to scatter

As we mourn for those
‎Departed and free
‎We send our tasbeeh
‎To plant them a tree

‎So their garden grows
‎Unexplainably
‎With verdant remembrances
‎For them to see

‎إِنَّا لِلَّٰهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ

In the realm of guided thinking

 |  Ingenuity is in the rocks    \
 |  At the confluence of the arts \
 |  Extract it and enlarge the box \
 |  With all of the same parts     /
 |  That we may think within      /
 |_______________________________/

Now if you think your heart
That shattered into pieces
Can never come together
Continuing to beat

Then think about the man
Who in the year of sorrow
Sat down beneath a palm one day
To cleanse his bloodied feet

The ten are upon you
Each day is designed
To help you to gather
Your body, your mind
Your fragmented soul
And get them aligned
With the pulses of Nūr
His Grace has defined

Khalid: get aligned

Ilāhi save me from
The fool I am now
And the fool I may become

Every field and mountain
Every blade of grass
Every fish and bird and beast
And every tree I pass

Everything in order
Carefully designed
To harmonize a soul
With its cogitating mind
