The fire could not touch Ibrahim
And Yunus was safe from it too
The fire within and the water without
Are nothing when Nūr is with you

The faster you go
The higher you fly
The harder you hit
The longer you die

The harder you brake
The faster you fall
The longer you run
The higher the call

To the all-encompassing Seer
Who every negligibility sees:
The wake of a supernova can’t eclipse
What follows a trifling sneeze

I’ve heard there is
No going back
For time and rivers, you

Can wind about
To make your way
A bit like rivers do

To get to where no shadows fall
And superfluity is all

Where time is dead
And _and_ is bred
Until you’re never through

Drown yourself in the sea of his beauty
Lose yourself in the woods of his praise
Save yourself by his warm intercession
Find yourself in the way of his ways

The good a question brings reflects
The knowledge of the questioner
Like a baby in its mother’s brace
Reflects the rahmah blessed in her

Be in awe of an unlettered mind
Whose intellect is refined
By pursuit of the Truth
And quiet reflection

It really gets intuit

Don’t squander them playfully
They won’t excuse you
Use your words carefully
They’re wont to use you

Sometimes a beverage gone cold
Warms you up
Because of a love that made home
In the cup

You only need proof
If his word isn’t enough

But if his word isn’t enough
Then the world isn’t enough
