The Intellect Trap

Khalid Mukhtar · May 28, 2020 · Leave a Comment

Building homes and towns is hard
There’s a lot to learn and know
Roads and bridges, parks and ponds
Regulating all the flow

I can’t do it all alone
There’s an expert for the task
I can’t do it by myself
Have to find someone to ask

See this body’s like a town
Nerves and arteries like roads
Heart and brain, and lungs and bones
Going off genetic codes

I can’t do it all alone
There’s an expert for the task
I can’t do it by myself
Have to find someone to ask

Laws can be a gnarly beast
What they say and what they mean
Won’t spare even the deceased
If you miss what’s in between

I can’t do it all alone
There’s an expert for the task
I can’t do it by myself
Have to find someone to ask

Oh my self, my mind, my soul
Is this real Should I care
Why’m I here, and where’m I going
And what’s waiting for me there

I got this
